How long have you been working in fashion manufacturing?

As quite a new business in the fashion manufacturing industry, we have a fantastic circle of highly skilled workers with decades of experience between them. As the founder, I have personally been in the industry for years, so I knew exactly the team I was looking for and am proud of the unit we have now built.

The downside of being a fairly new business is finding clients to work with on large projects, as well as smaller runs. We love working with Sewport because it helps us find the right balance of clients who need both large and small quantity production in the UK.

What do you think is special about UK manufacturers?

UK manufacturers are special because of the consumer. The UK consumer really values and appreciates UK-made products, so with every run of production, we know we’re making it for these people. With a focus on quality, UK manufacturers produce some of the best fashion lines in the world, even if I say so myself!

What is your favourite thing about working with new designers?

We love how excited they are about their product. When new designers come in for an initial meeting with us their vision and enthusiasm for their brand is infectious and it’s a great source of energy for us creating their designs.
